Christian men are called to man up and lead. This conference is for Christian men in Utah who are seeking wisdom and holiness as they strive to make a difference in the culture.
Our focus this year will be on modern-day idols. The American man’s life is filled with work, technology, money, women, and a whole host of other potential gods in the world. When the Israelites made for themselves a golden calf as an idol, Scripture tells us that Moses “took the calf the people had made and burned it in the fire; then he ground it to powder, scattered it on the water, and made the Israelites drink it,” (Ex. 32:20). Let’s confront our idols the same way Moses did.

Tom is the Pastor of Niagara Frontier Bible Church in Lewiston, New York, just miles from the Falls. He was raised Roman Catholic in Brooklyn and was unaware of the gospel. He went on to join the Navy, where he served in Vietnam, and on Christmas Day, 1972, his ship came under enemy fire. Working in the engine room, with the sound of shrapnel blasting everything around him, Tom was facing death for the first time in his life. At that time, God brought a messenger of His gospel along — a man Tom had previously pushed away — and he shared the good news. After surviving the attack, Tom went to his bed and prayed to receive Christ.
Pastor Tom has been married to his wife, Shelly, for 41 years. They have three children and one granddaughter. He earned a pastoral certificate from Grand Rapids School of the Bible and Music and a B.A. from Frontier School of the Bible. His passion is for revitalizing dead and dying churches. Tom has served at Niagara Frontier Bible Church for five years. Before that, he was a church planter in his childhood neighborhood and the Director of American Mission for Opening Churches.
Keith is the Pastor of Chapel of the Lake in Lake St. Louis, Missouri. He had the privilege of being raised in a Christian home in Texas. As a child, God saved Keith when he trusted in Christ as his personal Savior. “My sins, which are many, are covered by God’s grace and Christ’s atoning sacrifice through my faith in Jesus Christ,” he says.
Keith and his wife, Janet, have two children and five grandchildren. They have served at Chapel of the Lake since 1982, when Keith became the associate youth pastor. During that time, his ministry was filled with lots of teaching, camps, retreats, and mission trips.
In 2008 he became the senior pastor. He earned his B.A. in Music at John Brown University and his Masters of Advanced Biblical Studies at Dallas Theological Seminary. He enjoys playing with his grandchildren, music, carpentry, and being at the lake.
Aaron Weil, music
Aaron was raised in Idaho and has recently moved back after spending six years in northern Minnesota. Aaron has had the privilege of being asked to play with and open for some of the nations biggest names in music today, including, “The Sons of the Pioneers”, Ricky Skaggs and Mark Harris (formerly of the Contemporary Christian group, “4HIM”).
With his love for the Lord, ever present enthusiasm and love for people, he has made some positive changes in the church they attend. Even though Aaron has been using his musical talents in many other areas he still feels the calling to perform concerts. In 2006, when Aaron moved to Minnesota, he started performing solo concerts in many local churches. From that point on, Aaron’s music ministry has continued to grow and is still growing today. Starting in the summer of 2009, Aaron began touring on the road with his music ministry all across the U.S. The Lord has blessed Aaron with a great musical talent, and Aaron plans to use his talent to glorify the Lord.
Currently, Aaron and his wife, Melissa, serve at Centennial Baptist Church in Caldwell, Idaho, where Aaron is the Worship Pastor.
